We decided to move from Washington to Georgia after a wonderful job offer. It was a big move for us—we've lived in Washington for 18 years and in our current house for almost four. Our relocation company required market analyses from two agents. They picked Windermere and Glenda, and we chose the real estate agent that handled the home sale and purchase four years ago—probably the smoothest transaction that we could have asked for to date. Even though we had a very good history with our real estate agent, after one meeting with Glenda, we felt Glenda was the right person to handle the sale of our house. Relocation is different animal. The relocation company was on the East coast (and Eastern time zone), had many requirements to keep them informed and make them happy, and offered funds for marketing that Glenda had experience with and took full advantage of.
The buyer of our home had to jump through even more hoops than we did, and Glenda had to make sure their process went smoothly and that the pain was worth it.
We were so glad we chose Glenda. The results speak for themselves. In the tightest market in decades, Glenda moved quickly, got our house on the market right before Thanksgiving, days after we chose her, sold it in less than 3 weeks, and kept everyone happy—us, the buyer, and our relocation company.
Months later, we talk to people here in Georgia who are waiting to buy their dream home if only they can sell their house in XYZ. Their jaws drop when we tell them we had two full-priced offers after only three weeks on the market. If only they had Glenda to sell their home.

The scary part of our relocation started with my wife being pregnant and we were going to move almost 3,000 miles from North Carolina to Washington. The comforting part of our story started when I heard Glenda's friendly voice assuring me that we could find a house within our price range close to where I work.
